So here it is, time for March's competition! Thanks to all of your for so many beautiful entries last month, it's going to be very tough to pick a winner. This month we want to see your earrings - again you can use whatever materials and styles you like - chandeliers, studs, hoops - it's up to you!

What are the prizes?

The winning design will receive a copy of 500 Earrings by Lark Books worth £16.99. This stunning book is packed full of inspirational pieces and will take pride of place on any jewellery maker's shelf. The winning design will even be featured in the magazine's readers' showcase!

One runner up will again be chosen to receive a selection of markers from our friends at , perfect for planning your next projects and getting creative this Valentine's Day! Sharpie markers are available in 13 stand-out colours and can be found at Ryman’s, WHSmiths and Wilkinson’s stores nationwide.

How can I enter?

The competition couldn't be easier to enter. Simply snap pictures of what you think is your finest creation - be it a piece you've already made or something you fancy making especially for the competition - and post it in this thread as a reply.

If you need any help uploading your images externally to an image hosting service such as Photobucket or internally to our server, please click here for two guides on how to do just that.

Terms and conditions:

Please limit your entries to one per member and one post per entry, but feel free to put as many images of your entry in that post as you feel necessary to show off your work.

The competition will be open for one month, which means the final day you can enter is the Wednesday 31st of March 2010 (31/03/10) with the competition closing at 5:00pm on that day. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. The judges' decision is final. Competition is not open to GMC staff or Making Jewellery contributors.
