Designer Tips

- Open and close jump rings by twisting to minimise any gaps
- Make sure eyepins are tightly closed with round nose pliers
- Check which way your charms will hang when attaching to a jump ring by holding the necklace up, re-hang the charm if necessary to get the right look
MATERIALS
- Ceramic heart bead
- Ceramic coins in blue and pink
- Swarovski pearls in 8mm pink and 6mm blue
- Trinity antique silver large dragonfly pendant
- Trinity antique silver heart and dragonfly charms
- Trinity antique silver eyepins and jump rings
- Trinity antique silver filigree connectors
- Trinity antique silver leaf toggle clasp
Step 1
Use eyepins to make two blue ceramic coin bead connectors and attach each to a large antique silver dragonfly pendant. Thread an eyepin through a ceramic heart and loop at the end. Place the heart over the dragonfly pendant. Using a jump ring, attach antique silver filigree connectors to either side.
Step 2
Attach the antique silver connector on the right to the outside loop of a ceramic coin using a jump ring. Connect another jump ring to the same loop on the ceramic coin and join to a large pearl threaded with an eyepin. Make a loop on the other side and attach a jump ring and an antique silver heart charm.
Step 3
Continue in this way, connecting the pearls with looped eyepins. Add a small pearl then a jump ring, large pearl, jump ring and a blue ceramic coin. Following the ceramic coin add a jump ring with a dragonfly charm. Next add an antique silver connector using jump rings.
Step 4
Next, add a pink ceramic coin bead and attach to a jump ring, and then add a large pearl and a jump ring with an antique silver heart charm attached. Lastly, attach a small pearl, jump ring, and a large pearl.
Step 5
Repeat steps 2 to 4 to create the other side of your necklace. Make sure that you open and close all jump rings by twisting them to minimise any gaps in your connections. Close all eyepin loops as closely as you can so that all your connecting pieces stay intact.
Step 6
Open a jump ring and attach the leaf part of the toggle clasp to one side of your necklace. Thread an eyepin or a headpin through the bar part of the toggle clasp. Make a small loop on the underside to hold it in place and attach to the necklace. Thread the bar through the leaf to close your clasp.
